General Disclaimer
The information provided on this website (www.techwavevoip.com) and through TechWave VoIP's services is for general informational purposes only. While we strive to keep the information up to date and accurate, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability, or availability of the website or the information, products, services, or related graphics contained on the website.
VoIP Service Disclaimer
TechWave VoIP is a hosted VoIP reseller providing cloud-based business phone services. Our services rely on internet connectivity and are subject to the following limitations:
Internet dependency: VoIP services require a stable broadband internet connection. Call quality, reliability, and availability depend on your internet service provider, network equipment, and bandwidth. TechWave is not responsible for service interruptions caused by internet outages or degraded network conditions outside our control.
Power outages: Unlike traditional landline phones, VoIP services will not function during power outages unless you have battery backup or an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) for your internet equipment. We strongly recommend maintaining backup power for business-critical communications.
Uptime SLA: While we maintain a 99.999% uptime target for our hosted platform, this applies to our infrastructure and does not include downtime caused by your local network, ISP, or equipment. Full SLA terms are defined in your service agreement.
E911 Emergency Services Disclaimer
VoIP 911 service works differently from traditional 911. Enhanced 911 (E911) service associated with VoIP may have limitations compared to traditional wireline 911 service. Important considerations:
You must register and maintain a current physical address with TechWave for E911 to work correctly. If you move your VoIP equipment to a different location without updating your registered address, 911 dispatchers may be sent to the wrong location.
E911 calls may not complete if your internet connection is unavailable, your power is out, or your VoIP equipment is not functioning. You should maintain an alternative means of reaching emergency services (such as a mobile phone).
TechWave complies with all FCC requirements for VoIP E911 service, including 47 CFR Part 9.
Number Porting Disclaimer
TechWave facilitates number porting from your existing provider. While most simple ports complete within one business day under FCC rules, complex ports involving multiple numbers or different carrier types may take longer. Porting timelines depend on your current provider's cooperation and are not entirely within our control.
Your existing provider cannot refuse a valid port request, but delays may occur due to incorrect account information, outstanding balances, or incomplete authorization.
Pricing and Fee Disclaimer
All pricing shown on this website is subject to applicable taxes, regulatory fees, and surcharges as described on our Pricing page. These include the Federal Universal Service Fund (USF) contribution, E911 fees, and our Compliance and Administrative Cost Recovery Fee. State and local taxes vary by jurisdiction.
Competitor pricing comparisons on this website, including our True Cost Calculator, are based on publicly available fee schedules and real invoice data. Actual fees charged by other providers may vary based on plan, location, and account type. We encourage you to verify any competitor pricing with the provider directly.
Testimonials and Results Disclaimer
Testimonials and case studies on this website reflect individual customer experiences and are not guarantees of specific results. Your experience may vary based on your business size, call volume, existing infrastructure, and other factors.
Metrics referenced (NPS improvements, cost savings, call resolution rates) are based on reported customer data and may not be representative of all TechWave customers.
Third-Party Content and Links
This website may contain links to third-party websites, integrations, or services (such as CRM platforms). TechWave does not control and is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of third-party services. Inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TechWave VoIP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use our services, including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, or business interruption. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Full liability terms are defined in our Terms and Conditions.
